We have a great new board of directors and look forward to an exciting new school year.  Check back often to find out when the first PTA meeting is so you can join the PTA.  Family involvement is the # 1 way to help your child do good in school. Volunteering for the PTA or your child's classroom or another area of the school in important to both us, and your child - so please think about volunteering some time. On August 22, 2008,  there will be an Open House at Sandy Miller where families can meet their teachers and visit their classrooms.  Additionally, there will be a standard student attire exchange of slightly worn clothes. Those students who have outgrown their school clothes (which are still in good condition) may donate them.

We'll see you on August 25, 2008, when we all return to school -- woo hoo!!!
